After visiting the La Verna caves in the morning, this was our afternoon activity, and it was fantastic. An hour walk up some challenging (but not overly so) paths took us to the bridge. The unevenness of the ground and slipperiness of some of the rocks makes this more difficult than the actual walk and climb themselves, but it is... More

After 2km hike that goes up, up and finishes with about 200m of altitude difference from where you start, the reward will be achieved, but beware, the bridge shakes and it might be pretty scary for individuals that fear the height. Still a great attraction that offers an amazing view over the canyon 150m down below!

This is a fantastic day trip up hill to reach a fantastic bridge across a gorge. Note the hike is not that easy so be ready to go uphill

It was a wet day when we headed to Holzarte so we were worried it might be difficult getting up there after reading other reviews, but if you are wearing sensible shoes it's not a difficult walk at all. It's fairly steep but only took us 40 mins to get to the bridge from the car park and we had... More

Another traveller suggested Holtzarte to us whilst staying in the Vallee D'Aspe and it was a brilliant recommendation. We took our walking boots and our very hot (it was 35 degrees) 6 & 7 year olds on this stunning walk. It's quite a challenging walk in places, and took about an hour in the conditions, but the reward is so... More

Challenging hike up to the bridge for our youngest, 5, and granny, but well worth the effort. You can do this in trainers, bit of a scramble up some rocks, with handrail, ropes to help. Would be difficult on a wet day. Good reasonably priced cafe at the bottom next to the car park, for loo stop and rewarding beer/sirop/ice-cream... More

HOLTZEARTE This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in THE SOULE . This is a pretty trail but not easy. It is suitable for people whose ability to walk was fine. It is recommended to come up with good walking shoes and those with back or knee problems use walking sticks. Come to Logibar road D26 .... More
