You will find exactly the same things: a church, 3-4 aged plane trees, tavernas, souvenir shops, pastry and local products on benches. Not so different from a village at Pelion or Pindos. But it is the only place in the region with these character, with beautiful views and calmness. The road from Geraki to Leonidio is fantastic to drive. The village also is very clean.

A wonderful village square with taverns and pastry shops with traditional sweets. Opposite the square is a church surrounded by eight huge plane trees. Make sure you have a jacket with you, even during summer days - the temperatures are kind of low due to the altitude.

Went for the drive. Lots of switchbacks and turns from Leonidion. Gets cooler the higher you go. Gteat little restaurants to grab a bite or some pastry. Not over priced, even at the little shops. A definite stop if you are driving through.
