Very boring. There were two playgrounds, but we've seen better free ones here. There was a tiny pool for rowing around, but they didn't allow kids unattended, and adults would look ridiculous. There was a train going around the park, but don't suppose it's a...More

We visited here as a group of adults and granted this is of course geared up for children there were a few exhibitions that definitely held our attention for long enough. The Madeira indoor boat ride was cute but could have been improved with better...More

When we went it was so quiet it was almost deserted. I'm not sure who the "theme park" is aimed at...the history of madeira is interesting with the houses set up how they would be but the rest...particularly the train ride must take less than...More

There is so much to see at Madeira that stopping here even for 10 minutes shall be considered a total waste of time. All the city of Santana with its so called "traditional roots" is one big misery. Compared to other open-air museums (or thematic...More

Nice spot for spending 2-3 hours. About 20 things to visit spanning handicrafts, nature, science. Playgrounds and boats. Not really for very small children.

Described as a family attraction first impressions are all about things to do with children, but whilst the train and boating lake looked fun, as adults we found the Island of the World exhibition excellent. It provides over an hour of information on the history...More
