About
When we were deciding what to call our winery we wondered; "What is it about wine that captivates us, that keeps us coming back for more, and that still interests us after all these years?"Some people like to know where the wine comes from. Others like to know who made it or how it will change with time. The foodies want to know what flavours they will find in their glass and how it will pair with a certain dish. We're all intrigued about wine. It's constantly changing and evolving. That is part of the excitement and allure of winemaking. We came together as partners out of a passion for wine. The strength of the partnership is in the complimentary experience that each of us brings to the table. A winemaker, an accountant, an internet entrepreneur and a business advisor

Nice friendly staff and one of few wineries with a reasonable tasting cost. Wine was nice especially one sparkling that would be wonderful. The tasting was $5.00 and if you buy a bottle then the tasting is free.

We almost passed by this winery, but the yoga instructor at Sparkling Hill recommended it to me so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We went to 7 wineries that day (ok, that's a separate issue) and by far I enjoyed this one the most. The wines were ALL good - very smooth and delicious, and reasonably priced. And the gift shop had so many unique and cute things, also at very reasonable prices. The pink champagne (I Do) was served to us in the spa at Sparkling Hill so you know it's got to be good! The Social wines were so good I bought many bottles as Christmas gifts. We weren't the only ones carrying multiple boxes of goods to our car as we left this place. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Came here with couple friends to do some wine tasting before Christmas as they recommended I try the Intrigue wines. We didn't stay long but had a good time trying different wines and they were pretty good.. Ended up walking out with couple nice reds and overall it was a fun experience. Like the Intrigue reds better the the white, but that's just my taste. Lovely lady helping us out was very nice at chatty.

We love this place. We have found it back in April when we did wine trails. We went back again this time and bought 4 more bottles. The wine is good and is one of the most affordable bottles. Their social white is $13, rose $15, Riesling $16 and bubbly $18 which are all great. The tasting is cheap and waived if you buy a bottle. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a very good tasting at Intrigue Winery. Tasting started off with a sparkling wine, which most of the wineries in the area seem to do nowadays.
With so many wineries in the area, it’s difficult to stand out, and seem different, or attract attention in a seemingly sea of sameness. Enjoyed their wines.

We went on a wine tour with Elite Wine Tours (highly recommend them). Richard our driver was so good! There were only us and another lovely young couple. Not a great start with the wine tasting server Maureen. She started by asking where we were all from. The young couple said, "from Vancouver." We said, we were from Cranbrook. Her reply was "Oh, I'm sorry." "I hate small towns." "My husband forced me to move to Trail." "Are there more than 4 stop signs now?"
Both couples were so taken back! Is this supposed to be an ice breaker? All of us were flabbergasted! We told her that we love Cranbrook and it's beauty surrounding the town. Also one of the Vancouver couple told her that it is a nice place. We told this story to our Trail friends and other people from small towns.
Needless to say, it left a bad taste in our mouths. Thank goodness the wine we tasted was very good. And we ended up buying several bottles.
Thank goodness our next stop was at Peak Cellars and the hosts were so AWESOME!!!!

Arrived at 5:50 on a Wednesday afternoon. 4 lively ladies 60plus.
Them: ‘Sorry, our tasting closes at 6. We corked our bottles’.
Us: ‘Aw come on, we will be quick’.
Them:’No’.
So surprised that they wouldn’t take the time. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past. They could not wait to push us out the door. After 30 plus years in retail, I just don’t understand this. Would have bought a floor mat but I liked but on principle I didn’t.
Another one I won’t return to.

We enjoyed our stop at Intrigue while in Lake Country. Alex was helpful and enthusiastic about the wines. The tasting was primarily comprised of their blends, which could satisfy a variety of palates but seemed to lack some of the depth/complexity that you can find in others nearby.
Would definitely recommend and/or return.

A very unassuming but wonderful stop on the Lake Country wine route. Tastings are inexpensive and free with purchase. Our hostess was engaging and knowledgeable. A nice selection of kitchen wares and gourmet local sausage and cheeses to take home or enjoy on their patio with a glass of wine. The wines were very pleasing and more reasonably priced than others in the area. Only minutes from the highway and well worth it!

Hi Lani, I don't sell wine barrel. I 'm just a customer visit that place recently. You have to call each winery it is a case by case. Some have a barrel, some don't. And also price varies a lot, from 60$ to 100$ a barrel. Good luck! Hope that answer your question.
