Check the weather as it can be foggy but on a clear day this place is a gem. When you get to the lighthouse you're likely to see plenty of sealife such as sea otters and porpoises.

Yes, the parking is the same area, whether you are visiting the lighthouse or the buildings. Well worth the visit! And it is free this year, because of the Canada 150.

Hi Yes I think it was plus I think there was a ramp up to the actual house rather than use stairs.
