OK I just said that to keep the hordes at bay. I suppose that any cidiot intrepid enough to trek across the Georgia Straight and five hours up-island will have earned their turns. This place is everything that Whistler's not and that's A-OK with me.

I live near a little volunteer run mountain. It's called Mt Cain. They are frequently voted best powder in BC. They don't have an enclosed chair lift or a spa. They do have a big wood stove in the middle of the small timber lodge....More
