Interesting & informative - enjoyed the rum tasting! Also enjoyed some cocktails afterwards that was much cheaper than any other places we visited.

I thoroughly recommend a visit to the Rhumerie. Beautiful grounds, a great tour with a well informed guide, and the best part 9 rum tastings. Great rum in beautiful surroundings - can't beat it on a rainy day.

We had a fun tour of the rum distillery followed by a delicious rum tasting. We also had lunch at the restaurant as part of our tour. It's worth making a visit here for at least an hour.

Is it cheaper to buy rum the Chamarel rum here or in a retail store? How much more expensive is Chamarel rum compared to other brands?

Never compared any prices, but there again I never saw their brands for sale elsewhere.
