I go to 5th station of mt.Fuji by bus... Start from kawaguchiko station.. the bus stop is infront of the station... Every 30minutes.. I was expecting to see the mt.Fuji on the cloudy day.. so we choose to go to 5th station... I took 2hours one way to go up there.. and little bit cold..17 celcius.. We still cannot see... More

Mt. Fuji is a little more remote than expected. If you dont want to buy an expensive tour package, there are limited options to get here. From Tokyo, you need to take the train to the base of the mountain (bullet train cuts down travel time considerably), followed by a bus to the 5th station. The bus deport at the... More

I'm glad I did the climb and made it to the summit. It was an experience. Make sure you buy the climbing stick and get all the stamps on every stages. I don't recommend it for kids. Bring cold gear. Weather is unpredictable it might be sunny one day and could be rain or snow the other. Don't quit and... More

OMG what can I say about Mt Fuji. Just an amazing experience all round. We were a group of 3. Arrived by bus from Kawaguchiko station. Took our time at the 5th station at the start of the Yoshida trail to have a proper meal at the restaurant and acclimatise before our trek. Bathrooms are clean. There are a lot... More

It's one of best tours we had. It's a jampacked schedule. Mt Fuji, Hakone day tour with lake asahi and ride in ropeway. We're so lucky because the weather is nice that we get the nice glimpse of Mt Fuji. Our tour guide Harumi is very good, she never gets tired in explaining everything, so compassionate with her job. Lunch... More

On the day we visited Mt Fuji we couldn't get to the 5th station due to snow, but weren't disappointed, we stopped at 1st station for photos, then were taken to a spot with the lake in front of the mountain which gave us the opportunity to see and take more photos. Luckily for us it was a clear day... More

After the long chilling journey, what has got everyone thinking is Rest Room. Usually most will walk into the Mount Fuji 5th Station Gogoen Rest House (wooden log building). The rest room is located at the back. Drop the money in the box and climb down the staircase. After that.... phew what a relieve 😆

Mt. Fuji is such a majestic place, everyone is eager to catch a glimpse and at least get to climb the glorious volcano up to the 5th station. It was spring and an avalanche prevented us to move more closer so we were taken to the nearest lake to catch a view, ride a ship for 20 minutes to marvel... More

Our guide could not promise us that Mt.Fuji would be visible to us during our scheduled tour. Inside the bus in the morning, she gave out a wide grin when the sun shone and a clear view of the snow capped mountain became visible to us. Wow, we had a field day in taking our souvenir shots at the Grinpa... More
