Oshino Shinobi-no-Sato is a Ninja-themed village situated on a hillside overlooking Mt. Fuji in Oshino, Yamanashi Prefecture, a village famous for the Oshino Hakkai ponds. Here you can watch the vivid Ninja shows held daily, or even change into the Ninja attire for a casual disguise. Amazing experience. The show, trick house, and training area were fantastic. Plenty to do and can spend about 2-3 hours there.

This entertainment place is designed with a ninja theme and is known as the Ninja Village. Its entrance fee is 1800 yen for adults and 1300 yen for children, and it includes the use of the amusement park inside the complex, visiting the old Japanese style house, attending the ninja skills show. If you decide to try throwing a shuriken, which is one of the ninja's weapons and is usually in the shape of a star, you will have to pay another 500 yen, which of course I recommend because even though it looks very convenient but it needs experience and proper throwing technique. Demonstrations of techniques and skills such as fighting with swords, ropes and shuriken are performed at certain times. The people who are present in these shows have great physical fitness and even some of them have played the role of ninja in movies. Visiting this place requires at least two hours. Children usually enjoy being in the Ninja Park and the challenges that are planned for them.

We stopped here during a bus tour and I wish we had more time to stay because it was truly enjoyable. At the entrance, we were welcomed by the staff who were dressed at ninjas and guided us to our tables. They had more than enough space to welcome large groups so it's great for families. Food was amazing and were very understanding of food restrictions (I'm a celiac).
The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. We were able to see the top of Mount Fuji very clearly and the colors of the leaves were unforgettable. They have a big, beautiful pond with koi fish of all colors too!
I will definetly come back next time I'm in Japan.

When I was younger I would have died of I knew this sort of place existed. We stopped here for a buffet lunch which was amazing but to see the the kids dressed as ninja with samurai swords and nunchuck’s was amazing English kids with swords and shields after visiting Warwick castle. There was Andy a “ninja” teaching then to hire to use throwing stars.
Great views of Mount Fuji as well as a beautiful garden with coy carp in a pool.

After visiting the nearby 5th station of Mount Fuji, our day tour group of over 35 came by this place for our lunch. It was a ninja themed amusement park that included a restaurant and also a museum.

We arrived at around 12.00pm and were promptly ushered to our reserved tables. The restaurant covered a wide area in a cottage village designed and layout. It was a hotpot cum buffet lunch. Food varieties were both local and westernized and food were yummy and nice! We love almost all the food here and especially great to have hotpot on such a cold and chilly day!

Service staff were efficient and friendly too. There was also a short live performances of Ninjas who came by our dinning room. It was so cool and the "ninjias" were cute and lovely too!

Just next to our dinning room, there was an area designated to display ninja related pictures, information and "weapons and tools" they use. It was so nice and interesting to see all these! And just next to it, near the main entrance, was a gift and souvenir shop.

Well, it's also an amusement park but a shame that we didn't have much time to walk-around the other parts of the park as we needed to rush for our cruise at Lake Ashi.

It was great to come by here for a great buffet lunch and getting up-and-closed with the "Ninjas"! What a great experience!

We went for the ninja demonstration and toured the village. We had some Dangozaka for a snack and bought some items in the gift shop.
