We have visited Lake Kawaguchiko by early November but the weather by then was not that good. We traveled to Oishi Park by Red Bus and the place was not as crowded as we expected. The "pink" scrubs were not in full color and Mt....More
This place is very easy to get to. Take the Red Retro bus to the terminus. It's right there. The flower garden is small but pretty well maintained. It will definitely look better in the summer time. It also offers a great view of Mount...More
This is the best vantage point for taking pictures of Mount Fuji for sure! But while you search for that iconic photograph, you'll be treated to one of the more sensational flower gardens I've ever seen. They also have a store for souvenirs and a...More
A must place to visit when you are in Fuji-Kawaguchiko area. This is the best place to take picture of Mt. Fuji.
Mountain, lake & beautiful flowers (oh and ice cream too!). What a perfect combo!
It offers a jam-making session (in case you’re interested)
To call this a park is probably being generous - it is more of a viewpoint, but what a view. The day our tour visited Oishi Park the weather was clear and Mount Fuji was in its full glory. The stop 'made' our entire Japan...More
Nice place to stop by for a coffee and some souvenirs while enjoying a great view of the lake and Mt Fuji. There are nice flowers here as well, but this depends on the season.
Please check the weather before coming as you might miss...More

We had a quick stroll here as part of our trip to Mt. Fuji. The park offers a serene atmosphere with views of Mt. Fuji, the glistening lake, and the pleasant fields. We enjoyed walking in the area, and it is definitely a must-visit place.

I have not been to Chureito Pagoda so can’t advise you which is better. But if you are already in Lake kawaguchiko area and not in a rush, you might want to visit Oishi Park as it is quite near (take red line bus). Don’t need a lot of time. I did it as last stop and then turn back to the kawaguchiko station.
