Many beautiful european houses ,garden were there. Especially swans were seen over a pond. A small concert of violin and piano performed and it was great. Somehow the ticket prices were little too high but we felt it worth. Also we can see Mt. Fuji from the garden, it is terrific for taking photos there.

First off I must emphasis how amazing their sand-art performance is. You cannot miss it if you visit. Although it's a bit small and hardly anything worth to see (eg. Flowers and roses) in the winter (when I went) there were live performances and music performances which may be worth the visit.

We went to Fujikawaguchiko for a day trip and mainly for seeing Mount Fuji. Upon arriving the Kawaguchiko station we took the red line bus and visited places on its route. The Music Forest Museum was last on our itinerary. This is a place which took us to our childhood dreams - a fairy tale setup, beautifully designed and decorated... More

Tickets are costly. Good for photo taking but there is no japanese element. There are no roses in the rose garden as it was winter.

We took the red line bus and didn't intend on stopping here but we somehow found our way there. It cost yen1,500 to enter. We were treated to 2 mini concerts that were good. The most interesting things are the many types of music boxes in collection here, some older than a 100years and in working condition. Many photo opportunities,... More

A beautiful place that store a history of orgel. Entrance fee is JPY1500, but sometimes you can find a discount sheet at Kawaguchiko Station. There are schedules of different performances in the vicinity (opera singer with automatic piano, clown of the opera, and water fountain show).

Love this place, so beautiful with autumn leaves! & so relax to wonder around the compound. There's performance too but full house, wish there are more chairs for visitors to sit as we stand to watch for the whole performance which could be more enjoyable if we can sit :) Didn't have time to take a break iin the cafe... As I recall, to enter this museum is pretty costly, around 1500 yen I think. If you are a photography maniac you should visit this place, it has many good spot to take a picture. But since I'm not a photography maniac, I found that this place is good for someone who loves history and music. Unfortunately I'm a fan... More
