About
Kawaguchiko Music Forest is a one of a kind musical them park, designed with a “European Alps” atmosphere standing beneath a superb view of Mt. Fuji. It holds a world-class collection of automatic musical instruments, including the world's largest "dance organ and doll orchestra" and the Philharmonic Performance Orchestrion designed for the Titanic. Stroll through the seasonally themed, art, and rose gardens, or take in the scenery from the comfort of the restaurant-cafe and shops. With the price of admission, you can also enjoy various musical experiences throughout the day. Particularly interesting are the automatic instrument demonstrations, and one of a kind live performance of musicians and opera singers. Also, experience the sand art storytelling artists backed by live musicians. This park is for all ages, enjoyable in all seasons, rain or shine.

Interesting place , many automatic organ from 1890-1905 , still working fine. Staff is very kind and willing to explain. They have some scheduled events to show “concerts” of some very ancient and big “music box”. Interesting for kids above 8-10 years and for adults.

A must see for anyone in the area. This place offers an experience you won’t find anywhere else. Beautiful views, cute shops, great short shows and fantastic souvenirs. Highly recommend, even on a rainy day.

Must visit if you are in Lake Kawaguchiko. We were able to what Cello concert and sand art. Outstanding performances!

The view of Fuji from there is also nice.

My children loves the place as they were able play and watch musical shows.

Entrance fee is ¥1800, going there with red line bis from kawaguchiko station.
They provide europian costume there.
In the winter season, there is no flower inside, but it’s still ok, enjoy the theater show with music box instruments.
The breastfeeding area is so good, it’s more like changing dress area.
All music box inside very nice.
We spend about 3-4 hours inside.
The restaurant is expensive and not similar with the picture, the actual portion is so small, and the taste not good. The benefit just have live music in the lunch & have salad buffet.

The garden was quite beautiful but the music museum was really interesting. There were many displays of antique music boxes, mechanical organs and other automatic musical instruments mostly from European countries. The main building also houses a concert hall where classical musicians from around the world perform and we were entertained by a Japanese Opera Singer.

It's really unique and very memorable. Apart from fantastic music performances and the rare and forgotten craft of large music boxes, there's also a sand art performance with live music being performed. It's very good value for money and I was surprised there was so much to enjoy in a relatively small museum.

This tiny museum with a nice small garden and a music fountain. Saw a tap dance show and music show with vintage musical instruments. Kawaguchiko area is pretty small, you can a look in the museum as the entrance fee is not v high.
