Don’t bother going for the bats, you won’t see any. But this is a lovely lava tube, with cool features for you to discover withoit a guide.

We visited here with a private guide who took us through the walkways and into the bat cave. We were already aware that the bats would not be seen as they sleep during the day, so visitors should be aware of this before they visit....More

Nothing to see in this cave. No bats seen in this bat cave. Waste of time and money. Doing something else instead is a better idea trust me !

The cave is accessed via the green line (about a 25 minute drive). Entrance is 350JPY per adult though the 2-day bus ticket gives a 50JPY discount (this is true for all the caves). Before you get to the cave entrance you take a short...More

There are no bats in this cave but it's quite interesting. You'll need to wear a helmet to enter, and the ceiling is so low in some parts that you almost have to crawl!
