On a bright clear morning, we visited Mt.Kachikachi by ropeway. There was a line from the hill going up to the ropeway entrance, but the wait was not that long. The ropeway crew were very courteous and friendly with smile. Excellent service! From the ropeway,...More

The ropeway is definitely worth a visit! The views at the top are amazing, and there is a cute little shop that sells some snacks. The ropeway only take about 3 minutes to get to the top for those who aren’t too keen on heights....More

Bitter cold with a biting wind but it was December I suppose. The rope way is ok but the view from the summit of Mt Kachikachi is worth the Yen. I’d suggest going to the last stop on the bus to the lake then stop...More

Going up the Kachikachi Ropeway was quite easy, and it had a few information during the short ride up. The view of Mt Fuji from the top is so nice, offering a panoramic view of Lake Kawaguchiko and the picturesque, snow-dusted town below. As you...More

A good view of Mt Fuji and Kawaguchiko lake from the top. If you like, you can take the walk going down, about 30 minutes depending on your speed, a good nature trek. You can climb up as well, if you want a good exercise...More

Amazing view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji from the top of ropeway but I was a bit crowded for a small ropeway, almost no place to breath.

The rope way provides excellent views on the way up of the lake and neighbouring mountains. The ticket price is very reasonable but lockers seemed expensive by comparison. There is a 270deg view at the top with a nice viewing platform on the roof of...More

It was a one woman operator at the start of Ropeway. She basically counted the number of heads , collected tickets and squeezed as many of us in. It was so packed that we feared it might give way! At the top, it was just...More

The Cable Car ride is Approximately 5-10min until the station. You can still hike up if you wanted to but it would take hours to get to the peak.
