Highly recommend that you take the bus from the town of Werfen, short walk, cable car (worth the 12 euros), medium walk to the entrance of the world's largest ice cave. Then up 1600 stairs inside the cave during a 65-70 minute tour in a...More

It was spontaneous devotion, but the trip was great. It is really cold inside and since you are moving slowly be prepared. It's interesting and we had fun. I suggest you to visit the castle in Werfen while you are there.

I took a private tour minibus from Salzburg, which cost about €80, but it was well worth it to be picked up from the hotel and taken directly to the cave ticket office. The driver then waited to pick us up afterwards and return us...More
