6-hour Temples tour of Bhubaneswar including hotel pick-up & drop-off

1 review
Visit some of Bhubaneswar's most important temples—the Yogini Temple, the Rajarani Temple, the Brahmeshwar Temple, the Mukteshwar Temple, and the Lingraj Temple—on a single tour. A guide's commentary will illuminate the rich history of the various temples, all built in the 9th and 10th centuries. Midday, stop for a lunch of local cuisine. All entrance fees included.

The place is a easy trek of 1200m and doable for young kids as old as 5yrs on their own. There are 3-4 food stalls and 1washroom on the trail. Some bful small bridges along the trek that make for good pictures. At the end of the trek is a majestic waterfall and the sound of the stream throughout the trek is so relaxing you wouldn't know how soon you reached it. My 5 year old did the to and fro on her own. We stopped while returning for tea at a stall. Entry fee is 20rs nd was free for the kid. Gets cold after 3ish so dress up in layers. Took us 2hrs as we were in no rush and went at a relaxed pace.

It's an amazing waterfall which can bring all your senses alive. Whether it's the roaring sound of water falling from the height or the mist surrounding the atmosphere or the icy cold water, you can rest assured to be rejuvenated by this place. But do not venture deep into the water without a guide or life jacket as messing with the natural forces here can be quite risky.

This place is still not polluted by the usual over crowd problem, coz it's require trekking in order to reach this place. One you reach you will feel the worth. Go early morning so you can enjoy alone. Zostel mukteshwar is 2.5 km from this place.

This place from outside is not at all attractive, shady people sitting outside near the ticket counter posing as guides, very narrow entry, but as you proceed, you begin to see and hear the water body, there is steep climb, there is descend, but what you get in the end is awesome and absolutely worth the trouble. I did it with a toddler(carrying him in my lap), so you can definitely do it. there is a zip line, very short though, but they charge 200 for that short adrenaline charge, so worth it if you haven't done that before.there is a small cafe just before the waterfall, so you can take stuff and enjoy there, but don't dump your trash there, locals won't appreciate it. There is no restroom, so if you gave ladies with you, go prepared.
