In the hills wherever you visit every place most probably have two different ways to reach the place. And this is no different as this is just a gate from another side of the road leading to Mahadev temple.

The temple is located at a very nice place. Tall trees around it and great views from behind the temple. Reaching the temple requires climbing some steps. This is a good place to visit but only when there are no crowds and when the weather is fine.

This temple was like any other boring temple, it had nothing really special to it so if you just want to see any old temple then you should go for it but if you are looking for something interesting then this is not advisable.

From Ramgarh, we drove in an hour's time to reach the temple.
Chauli Ki Jali is nearby and not to be missed either.
Incredible experience!

The temple is on top of hill. Two ways to reach. One by Stairs and other without stair. The second option is much better.

Mukteshwar sham is a temple situated on the top of a hill, which can be climbed easily by everyone. Once on top, the views are mesmerising and one can spend a lot of time just taking in the beautiful surroundings and fresh clean air. There are steps that lead up to the temple too.

Mukhteshwar Dham is a small but beautiful temple in the lap of the mighty Himalayan Mountain Ranges. It is approx. 2 hrs drive from Nainital lake.
The place have its own religious sanctity. It is situated up on the hill top, so the view from the temple is mesmerizing. The please could be visited by all, young, old ... everybody. A small walk/ climbing is required to reach to the temple, but is manageable by old people also.

Attractions : Natural Beauty, Beautiful scenery mountain ranges, adventure sports, photography spots.

Note : If possible take the route through the jungles of reserved area of "INDIAN VETERINARY RESEARCH INSTITUTE". You will love the drive through the deep green forest and beautiful sight seeing.
There are some good spots for photography and selfies.
