If you want some peaceful time and enjoy the scenic views visit this place early morning otherwise it will be fully crowded like any other tourist attraction.
After reaching this place you can enjoy some summer coolers and if you want to sit and enjoy the cool breeze you need to pay. As the whole place wherever your eyes can look you'll find small tables and chair placed by small vendors where you can sit and relax but need to buy something from their shop even if it's of a small amount.

Trip was dated 28 September till 30th September. It was the coolest place in UK with shortest kilometers from planes.
Jim Corbet Ramnagar and Almora both were doing in 30s from temperature point of view.
After Bhowali route was having less traffic, and after dhanachuli it was very pleasant.
Road quality is average and its broken on multiple places or you can say throughout.
Nearby there are Muktheshwar Dham temple, Chaule ki Jaali, Zip lining adventure and Bhalugarh waterfall other than these natural places good food eateries and Starescape observatory and other cosmetic points.
Overall I would rate it better than Nainital for this time of selection as Less crowded, cooler and you have enough activities to spend time and enjoy your holidays.

Chauli Ki Jali in Mukteshwar is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike. The spot offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan range, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rock formations here are unique, and the cool mountain breeze adds to the charm.
For adventure seekers, activities like rock climbing and rappelling are available, making the visit even more exciting. However, be cautious as the area has steep cliffs with minimal safety barriers. It’s best to visit during the daytime for better visibility and safety.
A short walk from the Mukteshwar Temple, this place is also steeped in mythology and local legends, adding to its mystique. Overall, a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and serenity—highly recommended!

This view point has something very special to offer. Sipping hot tea in the wintry month of December over the rocky cliffs can never go wrong. You can appreciate a great view of the Himalayas. In winters, one can enjoy the snow-capped cliffs which looks breathtaking ly beautiful.

Very crowded place. But it gives a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Also the trek is extremely scenic. The rock which is famous with “chauli ki jali” name, is mostly crowded with people clicking pictures. There are many food stalls and You can enjoy the snacks and tea.

Once in Mukteshwar you have to visit Chauli ki Jali to experience the stunning landscape. A small trek led us there and we were mesmerizing by the beautiful views all around. It is famous for rock climbing but we didn't see anyone doing so. All we did was soak in the pristine beauty of the surroundings.

This place will be crowded in the season, so you might have to wait a little bit to get that top of the peak perfect shot clicked, and please wear sport shoes or something comfortable as this place is trippy, and if you tripped over, you will be dead. no restrooms nearby, so go prepared. take care of the young ones as this place is dangerous for them.

Hi,
We are planning to visit Mukteshwar around 8th/10th of September. Is it a good time to plan this trip or would it be too rainy in September?
TIA,
Deepali

I have been to this place in almost every month as I am building my own house near Mukteshwer. Rains will be over by then.
Uttrakhand has 2 region called Garhwal and Kumaon. while almost entire Garwal is prone to land slides and closed roads during monsoon whereas almost entire Kumaon region is full green covered and least landslide so all roads are better and clean.
so No problem to go there.
