Choco-House Chocolate shop has become a big attraction for tourists visiting Mukteshwar because it is the only shop in the region which sells Hand Made Center Filled European Chocolates, Delicious Chocolate Brownies & Fudges. The chocolates are sold loose as well as in hand crafted gift boxes which are great souvenirs. The Chocolate shop is owned and managed by Mountain Trail Resort.

While staying at Madhuvan Cottage,we saw this Chocolate Boutique and rang the bell..this is a chocolate lovers’ haven and you are absolutely spoilt for choice…bought their cognac,rum and other liquor infused chocolates,guava jelly fillings ones, caramel centred , hazelnut chocolate and blueberry ones…can’t remember the others but it was the best purchase of the tour. Loved it.

We already had this place on our list and is very close to nirvana organic kitchen.
Unfortunately, the shop was out of chocolates except 2 varieties.
Disappointed as we could not get any chocolates. Bought a few left overs and still did not get any discount 😜

The owners are out of country untill March 2020. Our artisanal chocolates are only made under strict supervision of the owners and thus new stocks shall only be made after March. Wef April our bakery products such as Brownies,Fudges,Muffins, etc shall also be available. Sorry for having disappointed you.

Reading such rave reviews about this place, we decided to buy some chocolate to take back to Chandigarh with us. The Chocolate was delicious, I have to say, but the place is being run unprofessionally, as the chocolates don’t have any packing date on them. Why is that?
We tried to pay by card, but a big notice dissuaded us. In today’s day and age, I am wondering what can be the technical reason that a card wasn’t accepted?
Paytm payment too wasn’t accepted as my bill wasn’t more than 500 rupees! But then I thought that the whole purpose of Paytm was to make small payments!! Even my local sabzi wala accepts it! It’s all cash, without a receipt! Which is very unprofessional!

NO RECEIPT Instead of issuing bills of small amounts for every customer, the salesman prepares a comprehensive sales Bill in the evening after checking stocks.in case you would have Asked for a Bill he would have been very happy to issue one. The shop is registered with FSSAI, has a PAN NO., BANK ACCOUNT, ITR is filed every year. CASH is deposited in the Bank at regular intervals
From your review it appears that any shop doing business without NET is illegal and unprofessional. My dear CASH DEALING is still very much legal.
Also you seem to be very inquisitive to know for what technical reasons the CARD has been discontinued. Please forward your Email to enable forward the correspondence I have had With AXIS BANK for disconnection of the POS machine.
Also you were preinformed of the CARDand PAYTM dealing. You should have decided your purchase accordingly. There is nothing unprofessional about it.
I am sure during your tour you must not have paid every where with Card or Paytm
It also seems you have overlooked the off beat location. We cannot afford professionals for such micro operations.

While we were staying at Mountain Trail, could not resist visiting Choco House. Absolutely yummy chocolates, my kids just loved them, A must visit place for all.

I purchased small pack of hazel nut chocolates and had them later on.They were yummy. I feel bad for not buying more of other flavours. Frankly I was sceptical and feel stupid for not buying more.

Thank you for your custom. There is always a next time. Along with HAZEL you can try the other varieties too. There is MOCHA, ORANGE, EXTRA DARK, SUGARFREE, HONEY, etc..During the season you can also try our yummy BROWNIES,MUFFINS and other delicacies.

It is a very famous place in mukteshwar. It sells hand made chocolates. We bought few chocolates and brownie. Very tasty

This place is in the mountain trail resort and is their in house shop. I visited during off season and didn't find a lot of stuff. I am sure they do better during season time. I sampler some chocolates and liked them.

It's a cute place which is difficult to miss because of it's picturesque hut structure on the main road. Shop is being managed by a nice old uncle who handles the queries in a funny sarcasm tone. We tried their muffins, jams and different chocolates and were not at all disappointed.

Hi I read wonderful reviews about your place and am keen to visit with my women friends this May. We shall be staying at the Mukteshwar government tourist lodge. How far is Choco-house from the lodge? Women (average age 57+) can walk it?
