Allahabad High court is very old high court and delivered historic judgements. Building and architecture of the high court is worth seeing. Located in the city itself. Visitors are not allowed to go inside, you can see from outside road only.

The building and gardens are beautiful from the outside. Make sure you go around to the side with the widest view of the entrance and gardens. But, it is a working court and very busy and security conscious, so you can see it only from outside the gates.

Allahabad high court is one of the oldest courtss in India. It is also the largest with a maximum number of pending cases. The main building architecture is worth seeing. Avoid working hours to see it, coz that time it is too much crowded with people, lawyers, etc.

The Allahabad High Court is one of the most respected, if not the most respected high court in this country. It comes second only to the supreme court. It was one of the first high courts to be established by the British in India, way back in 1869. Its architecture reflects back to the Georgian architecture. Should be maintained for generations to come.

What a magnificent building it is ....the design and structure is much better than a assembly building or a king's palace. It is close to the Allahabad Junction Railway station and should be seen at least once that is my advice..you will admire it for life...

The news is that The Allahabad High court is going to be split in benches across the state and a visit to the Court makes one sad to see the majestic court surrounded with hoardings and boards and posters! They have posters over posters screaming for attention and blocking the line of sight driving towards HC from any direction. The cricket ground was buzzing with activity. Inside the court is a grandeur befitting the dignity of the place. The architecture is towering and brings a smile on the face. Deserves every bit of attention it gets !
