The entry ticket is 40/- for Indians and we can visit all the monuments with the same ticket. This is one of the monuments located inside the same premise with many other monuments. Pancha Rathas Shore Temple This is the one of the monuments which is famous all over the world. It's a scientific wonder about how such a huge rock is standing in a particular angle with minimum support. So if you are travelling in a 4 wheeler, park the vehicle near this place and you can cover all the major places by walk.

It is a beautiful place where one can relax during the sunset. The main rock which is depicted as Krishna's Butter Ball, basically balances itself miraculously on the slope of a hillock. People were trying to push the rock out of fun but the rock stood immovable. There are also some huge rocks around which serves as excellent frames for some snaps. This is a good place to chill during the sunset in Mababalipuram.

It’s worth visiting this place. It is one of the monuments in Mahabalipuram. It’s amazing to see this huge rock on the slope. There is one temple nearby. Avoid public holidays. It was too crowded when we visited on local festival public holiday. We couldn’t take proper pictures. Do hire a guide to know the history and significance of it. There are government authorized guides available. It will take around 30 mins to see this place. Entry fee is just Rs40 which is for all monuments nearby.
