If you are visiting Pelling, then you must visit this monastery. Wonderful place. One of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. From here, one can see the Rabdentse ruins from the top as well.

This was my 3rd visit here, it is located at a distance of 3kms from Pelling. One feels relaxed and quiet when you visit here, it has a lot of relics dating back to 15th-16th century BC.

This was my favourite Monastery in my trip to Sikkim. Usually quiet although there are times when tour groups descend in large numbers. The artefacts and cultural objects on display are very interesting as are the visual representations.
