At the time of going pelling from Yuksom, this waterfall falls on the right side. There was no entry fees. The falls was very less due to summer season. You will get better flow during monsoon. Water was Cristal clear. Rimbi Waterfalls are formed from the Rimbi River.

We loved the roaring falls in full spate due to the monsoon rains. A great photo op and very scenic and romantic views. Right on the roadside so no issues about access. An important landmark in Pelling as we couldn’t visit the famous lake as the road was blocked by a huge boulder that had fallen onto it due to the rains.

This fall comes on the way to other sightseeing places. So it is not a special visit spot. Otherwise kanchenjunga waterfall is worth watching than this one.

Rimbi waterfalls is located on the way to Yuksom before Khangchendzonga water falls. Although it is not large like Khangchendzonga falls, but it is definitely a good place to visit.

I treat this one as a short stop for 4-5 selfi/pictures. Local people considered this is one as a sightseeing place in West Sikkim. It's a very near from Pelling. There are lot of water falls in Sikkim. This is just a small one of them.

There is something about seeing a large volume of water falling over massive rocks from a great height that both mesmerises and creates awe. It demontrates both timelessness and power, and is quite hypnotic.

9.11.2019 was our whole day excursion in Pelling. On the way to Kanchenjungha waterfalls,we visited Rimbi waterfalls which is situated at a distance of 5 km from Darap village. Car has stopped at a road side near to the falls. We got down and captured some spectacular views of Rimbi waterfalls which is formed over Rimbi river. The beautiful falls is located at an attractive spot surrounded by emerald green habitat and amidst nature.

We visited in March, water was very less. You dont call such place a waterfall.
I dont know why travelling agents or drivers even call it waterfall.
It will come on the way to Pelling. You can see while going but water is too less during this time.
