Not sure as to why these waterfalls are called Kanchenjunga waterfalls. Nevertheless one is definitely impressed by the sheer force of the waterfall. The primary waterfall cannot be viewed from below. One has to climb a rickety flight of wooden stairs in order to reach...More

Amazing waterfall. The water was too chilled. Small outlets there offered hot momos to eat. It was so exciting to see the huge amount of water falling through the rocks.

You can't see the main falls from the road. you need to climb some stairs which were under maintenance at the time of my visit. Good Flow of water & good view as well.

The water falls have actually nothing to do with Kanchenjunga. Rope traversing is the highlight of this tourist spot.

This is the best place to see waterfalls in Sikkim. I had visited this place after the rains and could see the waterfall at its full glory

Best time to visit pelling is when you can get the maximum chance of getting a clear sky. We visited in June, still we get a large glimpse of Kanchenjhunga from our hotel. So, Dec is a good choice.
