Walk up the stairs to get a view of a magnificent waterfall. There is a nominal entry fee. There are few small shops selling tea, coffee, momo and other souvenirs. One can try ziplining here as well. There is a safety net between the zipline and the waterfall, so you are safe even if you fall. This is a great experience for all adventure lovers everywhere.

Skip this..not much to the falls, there are better falls in Sikkim that you are sure to visit along the way to North Sikkim.

Small sized waterfall with a decent photo op. Requires a short climb of 100 steps to reach it from the car park. You can get till the waterfall, but can't jump into the pool (water is very cold). Has a few shops selling quick eats (Maggi, masala chana, tea, chips), etc. Can spend about 15 mins here.

We went there in the rainy season. The water was too much. We enjoyed but could not stay for more than 5 minutes. There were stones falling as well.

Mammoth falls. A must visit. Bit far near the khehiperi lake. Though the driver didn't want to take us there we insisted and it made us happy.

hi frnds, need one suggetion.. can we get share car form Pelling to Njp? how much will cost for a small car?
Hey, last time I had checked, You can hire a taxi outside NJP station to pelling, guessing the cost is between 3000-4000 (tentatively) so assuming you take it on sharing basis, it can cost you something between 500-700. I am not too sure about, From pelling to NJP, but you can easily get shared cab from pelling to siliguri.

There is no best time as such. Depends on what you want. I personally do not like too many people so always visit hill stations in off season. We went in January. It was bitterly cold but the Kanchenjunga was majestic in all it’s glory. All the places were deserted and we got very good bargain on hotels and car rentals. They will treat you like kings and queens in off season. Anyways it’s down to personal preference. If you have children or aged people with you then I guess April to June is the safe season.

Yes, you can. Leave Gangtok early and spend 5-6 hours at Pelling . Leave by evening to reach Gangtok.

SANDAKPHU IS THE BEST. You must get down via PHALUT and enjoy the beauty of Rhododendron. Mind blowing.
