The pride of Rajsamand District, "Haldighati" in known across the globe for the chivalrous deeds of the great Maharana Pratap. 44 kilometers from Udaipur and 17 kilometers from Nathdwara it is nestled in the middle of the Aravali range. This narrow turmeric coloured mountainous region which played a stellar role in defending the honour of Mewar dynasty, is known as Haldighati.

Rakht-Talai at Haldighati is the place the war was taken betweent Maharana Pratap and army of Akbar. The soil of this place is with the colour of Haldi (Turmeric). Visit of this place, story of Chetak, Chetak Samadhi etc. was really full of excitement

Haldighati is must visit place in Udaipur.Your trip is incomplete with out Haldighati.The Gr8 Maharana Pratap who fought the battle against Mughals here.There is nice museum where u can get all information about it.
