The place is nice. it is a historical place where they discovered the idol of Bhagwan Mahavir. At most of the historical places, they do not allow photography is a tragedy. Otherwise, nice temple located within the city and surrounded by shops all around.

I have been visiting this temple every few years since my childhood. It is always a joy to visit it. The only let down is that there is no decent clean place to stay while there. All the dharamshalas are dirty. Food is great.

A beautiful spiritual place situated on the bank of Gambhir river in Karauli district of Rajasthan. It's always been a pleasure to be here as it's full of peace. Perhaps jain community will find it more good than i found. But just ok visit. From Jaipur to Agra NH11 take turn at Mahwa n that way will take you to Mahavir ji. Will not recommend if planning to visit only this place( if travelling to Kaila devi mandir Karoli then only travel to this manir).😊

The ambiance, the facilities, the crowd is awesome. Management takes responsibility in cleanliness & providing accommodation. Online booking of Rooms/Halls is also available at very cheap prices.
