I recommend you to travel with your own private vehicle. You can't rely on public transport systems ( auto ,bus, etc) . Their is a camp side near by you can enjoy camping as well. They won't allow you near the dam but , their are many beautiful locations to visit and one can feel close to nature . You should travel ones .

They do not allow on the dam but you can get close to it from the other side.
There is a small space for parking about six cars at the corner and walk for two minutes and you are on the rock.
Its clean and can sit on the rocks and dip your feets in the water flow.
There are no shops at all except a lady in a shed selling some corn or fresh vegetables raw.

It is fun to be in the waters of this dam. We had been here during the monsoon and it was full. Really good fun to be here, especially kids enjoy. Nice place.

The dam is closed for outsiders for security reasons but still you can enjoy the place from a little far from dam. In rainy season the nature's beauty is indescribable and awesome

Good place. But ought to know swimming. Or atleast be accompanied with someone who knows swimming.
Don't risk ur life here. But u can enjoy urself in shallower waters . Greenery is bliss to eyes.
After ur dip don't forget to take a bow at the Shiva temple.

Or also try yr luck at cane fishing

Gadeshwar is situated in Panvel but then you need to trAvel a little bit because it is situated at a distant from panvel and in between the mountains. Chill, relax and take the best pictures with whomever yourtravelling! A very serene place to watch the nature calm down.

A epic view with full of Greenery every where basically it is a water reservoir where water is stored in the DAM, and is supplied to home and for other use after Filtering process. You can admire the beauty of Mountain and lake. There is not much to see but this place will take you one step closer toward Nature. Evening and morning is the the best time to visit this place and this Dam becomes more Wonderful during Monsoon season.

This is a scenic place, near Panvel. This place is enjoyable with friends & families, especially, in rainy season.
