Arrived at the South Entrance, plenty of lots for car parking. Was told that there actually 2 entrances/exits which are about half hour journey by minibus. If you go in by south and complete the route, you will come out by the north entrance. The free minibus shuttles between the 2 points at intervals of 30-45mins. Entrance fee is 125RMB as it was peak season.
We took a 2 hour's leisurely walk with lots of off the track walks,...to reach the south cable car station, paid 100RMB for the 2 way cable car ride. Ride up to the top of 1 mountain range took approx 10-15mins. Once we are up there, we are treated to a nice scenic view of the mountain ranges and distanced Xianju population settlement. From this south station, the 2-3 hours' trek is great as the walkways has perfect paths for kids or old folks to walk,.... sometimes climbing stairs, and sometimes stopping at the many viewpoints to take in the beautiful mountain scenery. There are plenty of rest points with proper benches & even cool spring water taps along the trek. There are also a few stop points where food & drinks are available, but 2-3 times the average cost. Please take note that certain parts of the path & stairs are quite narrow, so beware when it gets crowded with other hikers. When you arrived at a suspension bridge across 2 mountains, take in the views and enjoy. This part is also one of the most scenic along the way.
The bridge also marks the arrival at the top north station for our cable car journey down to north station. The walk down to the entrance takes about another hour or so, and you can even walk directly next to a waterfall on the way down. Once you reaches the carpark, you can wait for the free shuttle bus to go back to the other entrance ( Vice verse for people who starts the climb from here ) Overall, I would recommend this as I truly enjoyed my day out here.

We entered from the North entrance, ticket is 125 rmb. If you don't want to climb the stairs there is a cable way (55rmb). We climb the stairs, it was crowded because of the holidays season. On the top the view is amazing, we took the path until the South entrance, there is a pretty scaring suspended bridge and suspended platforms. It was one of the most beautiful park I ever seen. If you don't want to take the cable way it takes at least 6 or 7 hours. There is a free bus between the two entrances

I have been living locally in this area for 3 years and after my recent visit I cannot believe I did not go here before. It truly provides some of the most beautiful mountain scenery that can be seen anywhere in the world. If this area was found in Europe it would be world famous. The entrance fee, steep at 125rmb is worth every penny once you get up into the mountain peaks and look down on the clouds from the tops and it is possible to spend a whole day here. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Zhejiang province. It is a hidden gem

Be prepared to walk and climb (though nothing a novice can't handle). This place is well worth it - it's beautiful!

It's also huge - the length of the area's trail is about 18km (though I expect most people take the cable car rides up and down at least part way), so I'd advise taking note of the emergency number they helpfully provide at the entrance.

If you dare to stand on all the perilous-looking platforms built here and there, which jut out of the mountain cliffs - you are braver than I am. Note that they also hold a highline event in summer.

A spectacular day hiking in this park. Each scenic overlook is more spectacular than the previous. We spent 4 hours on top of the mountains exploring the peaks and valleys. Several of the trails are a bit scary as you sneak around the cliffs. For the most part very safe with good handrails. Bring your own water. We took the cable car up, walked down the second entrance and then had an interesting shuttle bus ride back to the start.

This place is a perfect example of what happens when you take one of the most beautiful places in nature, and over-modify it to allow maximum tourism exploitation possible.

I had a fair and clearly written review composed, but Tripadvisor has decided to "glitch" and "lose" it. As there are nothing but gushing reviews to this place, I guess anything less than positive gets the bin.

If you like loud, screaming, shouting, shoving, spitting people, go here. The views are amazing.
If you like peaceful, civilized, serene and unspoiled nature, It is probably best to skip this place.

This park is a beautiful escape from the noisy and busy lifestyles in China. Grand views, fresh air, so many trees! I suggest dedicating a full day for hiking and enjoying Xianju.

This mountain is actually in a mountain range, thus, there are trails that run all around this famous mountain and join to others. From the top and on a clear day, one side of the mountain you have a spectacullar view of Xianju country side. On the other side of the mountain, from the top you get a breathtaking view of the surrounding green mountain ranges.
I last visited in Fall 2013 and there is a new tram to take you directly the top and 2 new suspension brigdes linking 2 of the closest mountains.

Bring your own food and water. It's a bit expensive once inside the area.
There are group rates but it's about 50rmb/person to get in.
