We had a quick drink while the rain passed through at the cafe in the castle. Perfectly acceptable and a good range of homemade cakes on display. Information was helpful; we did a couple of brief walks and enjoyed it. However, if you want to...More

We did not expect to see a castle in Kielder but there is and it has history. The visitor information centre is there and the lady we spoke to was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Lovely café with friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Also dog friendly. Well worth a visit. Would recommend for either a quick cuppa and cake or a cooked meal. Have tried both, also good value.

Access to the castle and cafe is fine for wheelchairs. All of the exhibits have now been moved downstairs so it's all on one level.

No as it is not NationalTrust. You pay one charge and that allows you to park in all car parks around Kielder.
