Canola, also known as rapeseed, blooms in terraces and along the roadside all through this area in March. The area around Wuyuan is known as the "most beautiful village in China." if you visit during the bloom time, you will believe it! Great old villages and amazing countryside views.

These ancient villages in Wuyuan are great. All are well worth a stop for some shopping and a stroll through history.
