Watching these guys making our everyday objects out of molten liquid was quite humbling. Magical. If you are slightly interested in old fashioned crafts, this is a definite must! The guys work in an hypnotic rhythm and I could have watched all day long. The...More

Glad we went here - I have always loved their glass products but to see where they are made was great. Loved that you could just wander through the building without having to be on tour - just follow the route through. Shop was lovely...More

We took our 9 year old granddaughter here on a rainy day. Weren't sure what she would think of it so we were pleased when she found it very interesting. First we watched the men at work. They go to lunch early so you need...More

We had an interesting visit here watching the glass blowing and the coffee shop was good value. We took our 7 year old boy which was slightly nerve wracking walking around the glass shop but he enjoyed the visit also.

Darlington crystal was a interesting activity on a rainy afternoon. It was good because got to see how the factory work and team work between the staff. I wish there was more to see on the factory floor as there was only two rooms.

A great place to take the whole family. Watched glass being blown & how those glass blowers worked in such high temperatures I don't know. Then visited the souvenir shop & treated the wife to a nice jug.

Very disappointed that there was no seating outside cafe for dog owners or indeed non dog owners. There was a large group of walkers who visit monthly and several dog owners who had to leave the walking party early and return home as there was...More

There are no tours at the weekend (which is buried somewhere in the small print of the advertising) and they charge you to walk around a glorified shop with a 30 minute advert for glass running in the background. Shame they can't manage to have...More

Excellent couple of hours if you like to see things being made. The factory tour is short but fascinating, watching a small crew of experts work together seamlessly. It is as if they have been choreographed!
