What an iconic view of the East Cape - take time to walk around the cemetery to visit those in repose by the sea - it is a beautiful church steeped in history and a joy to look at.

Well worth a stop. A great piece of history and a nice spot to A real Church, so a nice place to Worship our Lord Jesus Christ.

What a beautiful place this wee church is! Such a lovely pulpit area and a cute little sign to inform guests that the fishy smell under the font may be due to nesting penguins!!! A truly beautiful and peaceful spot....

We stopped here last week while travelling around east coast in our motorhome. Lovely old church in stunning beachside location. Well maintained and right next to beach. Good info on church and history, right alongside of road. Graves at back of church are well maintained...More

The church is right beside the road, surrounded by lush grass and it has the deep blue ocean as a backdrop. The church is in great condition. You cannot go inside, however, it definitely warrants a stop and a wander around.

This Church really symbolizes faith on the East Coast - it is iconic, well preserved and used regularly (as are many others) set on a prominent point between Te Kaha and Waihou Bay. Certsainly worth a photo stop.
