Lovely walk to the waterfall, 1km long, no steep inclines, some bits very slightly uphill. Plenty of picnic benches and rest stops on the way. Great way to pass an hour in. Came across some sheep grazing on the route, we gave them their space as had lambs with them and they happily went back to their grazing.

This is a lovely walk and only took us a 45 minute round trip. We definitely could have done it in less time but we stopped a few times for photos.
Make sure to go up the hill to the viewpoint (approx 5 mins into walk, there is a trail to the left).
The waterfall is impressive at the moment as there has been a lot of rain.
Path is fully accessible and you wouldn't need trainers/walking boots.
There are picnic spots if you are lucky enough to get a dry day!
Good signage about social distancing and sanitizer is available at the gate.

Lovely little gem. A great free day out and if you are blessed with lovely weather like we were 2 yrs in a row, a lovely picnic and a walk will be enjoyed.
Stunning views and a magnificent waterfall will certainly not disappointment.

Beautiful walk up to the waterfall approx 20 minutes and not strenuous.
The place is very well kept and has nice paths up. A few sheep wandering about the day we were there . Picnic area and benches on the way up.There is another viewpoint on your left just up from the gate. Coffee, ice cream, and toilets at the entrance. Admission is free, but Dont forget to put something in the donation boxes to help keep it the way it is. Lovely placque at top explaining how it came about ( photo attached ) Fair play too all involved

Another free attraction in Ireland. This is a hidden gem with good car parking and picnic tables. It is about 1km walk up to the falls but the path is gravelled and lined with lovely fairy doors. This attraction was all funded by the local community and it really is a credit to all those involved. The falls itself is very pretty and a lovely photo op. I would recommend people to visit if in the area.

This is a community initiative that has created a lovely short gentle walk up to a nice waterfall. Suitable for buggies but might be tough to push a wheelchair because it has a slope and stony path. Lovely cafe at the start. Little bridges that kids will love. Plenty of fairy doors to spot

Beautiful place to go for a walk. It is not too strenuous and the waterfall is magical. Plenty of picnic benches to enjoy a cup of tea. It's just a pity about the weather, it rained, surprise, surprise. Well worth a visit for families and singledons alike.

Beautiful surrounding countryside and a short walk to this waterfall. No need for hiking boots and easily accessible even if you have some difficulty with mobility. Well worth a visit. Don't forget as well to take a walk up a higher path to a beautiful views on your way back to the carpark.

This is a wonderful little hidden gem found near clonmany/ballyliffen.

It’s a short walk up to see a wonderful waterfall. The walk itself is grand, relatively smooth for a mountain side. The walk never feels like it’s a mountain. Plenty of seats etc on the way and at the top for those that need it. I done the walk with two little kids (7&2) both were able to complete with no issues.

Well worth the trip up!
