Snow Valley is an excellent ski hill for anyone learning to ski or who is not very experienced. Lots of helpful staff around and the slopes range from very easy to moderately difficult. All in all, great place. Expert skiers be warned, this resort will not offer much of a challenge. The terrain park at Snow Valley is also good.

Our kids at 3 and 5 both learned to ski and snowboard here. The staff is great and we find it easy to let the kids be kids here. They know the layout so well that we can let them have some time on their own (8 and 10 now).

This was a great way to spend some outdoor family time. 20 minutes from my home and easy to find thanks to great signage. Plenty of parking and short lines both at the cashes and the hills. All staff were pleasant and helpful both with or without asking. You can tell they pride themselves in safety, customer service and fun.... More

We had an amazing time at the snow tube hills and the staff were extremely friendly!! The only suggestion would be to have more signs for the brand new hill located at the very top. There was nobody at the new hill and if we had found it earlier in the day, could have enjoyed it before our tickets ran... More

I hadn't one anything respectable downhill for almost 20 years so it was with some trepidation that I dragged by two kids out of school for their first downhill experience. My intent was to take advantage of a discount of tubing on Thursdays and precede that with a downhill lesson. To my dismay they opted for snowboarding versus skiing, and... More

I really enjoy going to this ski resort, as it is friendly and not too far. The prices are quite reasonable compared to Blue Mountain Resort. It has a cozy log cabin where you can get a hot chocolate or something to eat with a real wood fire in the middle of the room. The tubing is really fun and... More

This has been a terrible year for snow, and for skiing, yet Snow Valley has been open from Dec. 31. By din't of excellent and dedicated snowmaking and superior grooming, this little resort has managed to keep most of its runs open and in good shape, since opening. Snow Valley still has a superb Snow School, aiming to teach kids... More

Dad and daughter together started off on their ski journey here past weekend and i have to say it was an amazing amount of fun. Absolutely recommended as a family outing. Snowvalley seemed a good enough place to start. Everything is orderly. Cons: - It is really pricey. If they want more people to start skiing then the prices would... More

I have skied all my life and now I am trying to teach my daughter when we have time (we do not have a Ski Hill local to us, so it is about 2 hours to the nearest spot, well worth the drive!) It was her second time on skis, so we took the Discover Skiing Lesson #1...so glad we... More

My family and I had a fun time skiing at Ski Snow Valley for the Family Day Long Weekend! I am an intermediate/expert level skier and both my teen and tween are intermediate level skiers and we found for an Ontario ski resort that there was enough well groomed intermediate level ski runs to keep us busy for hours! We... More
