Madhav Vilas Palace is taken over by IB department of India and is now out of bounds for visitors. Apart from that, the only worth seeing places are Scindia Chhatris and Madhav National Park. Banganga and Bhadaiah kind are not maintained well. Pigs roaming around and dirty washrooms are very disappointing and terrible let down. Sakhyasagar lake is vast with boating facilities. Pawa waterfalls is 37 kms or one hour away and good to see only after rains. Please bear these in mind before making plans to visit to Shivpuri. We didn't feel it worth the visit from Orchha.

This is now a Training wing of CBI and no more open to the public! Bang inside city centre and spread across at least 1 sq. km., entry for public is prohibited for security reasons!
