I like to come to Yorkeys Knob to relax and just watch the kite surfers. Its just so relaxing. The water is not so nice for swimming for that I prefer Kewarra or Trinity.

Visited on Monday 10th September. This was the last beach we visited heading back into Cairns, suggest you go there first if heading north looking for a beach to spend sometime at..

A pleasant little stop on the way to Cairns with fantastic views overlooking the Knob. It is a perfect place for young families to holiday with a patrolled beach and a great shaded park with toilet amenities near by.

Back to nature, an adventurers delight! No buildings on this beach, backs onto semi rainforest. Low tides are great..several individual islands are revealed to explore. Amenities are only 5 minutes away.
