We all needed to get out of the house for fresh air and a runabout. We came here and the kids (9&2) loved it! I’d also highly recommend this park for wheelchair users. Lots of level paths.

A lovely place. They have some great birds like goldcrest , grey heron and a kingfisher. There is a water park in the summer which costs nothing.

Beautiful day for it today. Blue skies, not too cold. Took scooters and bikes down for the kids to ride around before going on the play equipment. They’ve stopped charging for parking after 3pm, see the picture.

Cost £5 per adult and I think £3 per child under 6yr free. 20-25 mins of Fireworks (which was no more than the free display at Houghton Feast) but these had backing music. lots of food/drink stalls and fairground rides. Well organised and plenty of...More

we live a few hundred yards from the park and we often take the grandkids, we feed the ducks and swans and they have a fab time, there is a water splash in the summer would thoroughly recommend

One of the best places in Chester-Le-Street for scenic walks. The park has plenty of play equipment and is definitely worth a visit for a day out
