Married here, had Christenings , Funerals, in this beautiful church. Lindesfarne gospels displays, visit the rememberance book yearly as don't live in Chester le Street now.its worth visit

Lovely lovely church we had both our sons christened here and we visit Christmas eve for the cristingles service which always bring a little emotion very welcoming service, you have to arrive early as it's very busy beautiful church

This church is one of many in the area, but the one to host st Cuthbert during the invasion Vikings. There is a little museum, if you find yourself near here

Well worth a visit. We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful church and the Anchorage. I particularly liked the pictures of St Cuthbert near the altar. Fascinating history and a very well-informed guide.
