Mountain is almost covered with snow in winters. Great weekend escape from Delhi. Best part is that it's not very far and height of peak is almost 3500m, so that's very good for short time of travel.

The road is narrow and rough. Take a taxi instead of driving urself. Its safer.. We let the taxi off about 1/2 km before the temple and trekked the rest of the way. Stop over at Maggi point to have some sumptuous lip smacking Maggi!

Trekking in day time is safe and not recommended in evening. Although no wild animals incidence have been reported but you never know.
