Miyar Valley Trek - 10-20 Oct 20. The food was excellent in these harsh conditions. The guide and the staff accompanying were always making us comfortable in those challenging conditions. The team leader was extremely considerate and exhibited great leadership qualities. His planning co-ordination abilities were exemplary. The team functioned as a well oiled machine despite the fact that it was the first trek of the year.
The acclimatization and recuperation periods were well thought off and made comfortable at Sonuagi Homestead which was hospitality par excellence.
A difficult trek for 60 yrs and above was made easy by the trek conductor. Even at the end of a rigorous day all had energy to enjoy the campfires and sumptuous dinners.
Well done Nomadic Trails. May you make treks adventurous and comfortable like this so that more and more senior citizens with basic fitness levels can take part.
Good job keep it up.
One camp stool in ⛺ recommended.

Amidst the fear and stress of Corona and being stuck in four walls for months, Nomadic trails gave us the opportunity to experience nothing short of paradise. My mother and I had a wonderful experience trekking expansive meadows and mountains under clear blue open skies over lots of boulders of the Miyar Valley. I can go on and on about the scenic beauty of the valley surrounded by naked mountains, snow glaciers leading to the bountiful Miyar nala (river). We experienced the full force of the sun during the day and sub-zero temperatures at night making us grateful for the bonfire evenings spent with fellow trekkers, sharing stories and making lifelong friends. The tour was organized wonderfully, and I honestly don’t know what the staff members look like without a smile. The camping experience was great, and Sher Singh made sure we had everything to stay warm and comfortable, including constant supply of hot water and hot water bags. The food was extremely good, and we had a different cuisine each day, thanks to our cook Kalu Ram. Never imagined we would have hot and cheesy pizza at 3900 meters, check!
My mom is 64 and managed to enjoy and finish the trek with ease. Special mention to Mohit for being an amazing host and taking care of all our needs. I would blindly recommend everyone to experience an adventure trip with Nomadic trails.

Lagom' in Swedish means 'Just Right'. It is an experience of something being the perfect middle ground.
There is nothing better that could describe my experience with Nomadic Trails India and Mohit during my trip to Spiti.
It's hard to know where to begin in describing just how awesome and how perfect they made my trip.
First, their knowledge about the place is nothing short of awe-inspiring. From my very first interaction with them, these guys demonstrated extreme care and concern for understanding my travel needs and the experiences I had while traveling confirmed at every step that they not only understood my needs but had to the keen ability and knowledge to know how to meet them. I had travelled to Spiti for the first time and my itinerary was perfectly planned so that I could get moving as much as I wanted to while keeping the options to take it a little easier between days. I stayed at quaint but clean and well equipped home stays and hotels. The food has always been delicious and there was a perfect balance of meals planned for us in advance with opportunities to explore local dining options.
The entire journey was worth an experience. Words and pictures don’t do this place justice - one must experience it. My experience on the trip was nothing short of magical !!

Pin Bhaba was my second trip with Nomadic trails. The warmth and care of the staff towards all their guests makes it a hit.
The treks and trails are not the usual beaten ones, these treks are different and far from the maddening crowds which are usually seen in popular treks.
Nomadic trails curates their very own trails in beautiful locales which are memorable and value for money. Tad expensive than the others. But the experience is par excellence!!!
Highly recommended!!

Parang La is one the most gorgeous treks. We had a great time doing the trek with Nomadic Trails India. I met Mohit when I was in Ladakh, doing Chadar trek. I was really excited to join in one of his tours.
The arrangement of the trek was good. Nikhil, our guide is such a wonderful person. He stayed very positive and calm even though situations were not very favorable for us. But the good thing is we all were safe and sound and we had successfully completed the trek. The support we recieved from all the people during trek was enormous.
We spent a night before the trek at their home stay Tethys Himalayan Den in Chicham Khas. That place is a reaI gem. Just imagine, sitting at your room you can enjoy the view of the whole Village and Mount Kanamo. Such tasty food and coziness combined with picturesque view is hard to find. If you are visiting Spiti do stay at the place.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The Miyar Valley in Lahaul (Himachal Pradesh) was our 3rd trek with Banjara.
As with the previous 2 treks - our guides (Sheru Singh & Faris) were excellent - very knowledgeable, helpful, humorous and flexible (in terms of our preferences). The cook (Kalu ji) was also a joy to be with, and is an exceptional cook (who made all sorts of delicious stuff). Finally, the rest of the team (porters) were also wonderful.
I highly recommend the Banjara group, and look forward to another trek with them.
We were very fortunate to have the breathtaking Miyar Valley all to ourselves.

I used them for our Trek to Parang la.
The organization by Mohit was amazing. The team drove from Shimla in his car with overnight stops at very good locations. He gave use continuous tips on the points of interest along the way.
The trek was well organised however, due to snow conditions the pack animals could not cross the pass. We had to descend after reaching the pass at about 5750 amsl.
We spend a lot of free time with Mohit and his team, loads of jalebis and tea. They are putting up their own home stay in Chichum which we definitely plan to visit with my family in 2020.
I have done several organized treks and this was surely one of the best especially because of Mohits personal touch. the whole thing felt more like group of friends and the camaraderie

Heard about Nomadic trails From a friend and I joined them for Parang la. They have such a great team, Experienced Leads, amazing cooks and pretty entertaining staff.
Two things that set them apart was:
1. Food on the trail.
2. When parang la was a partial success, Mohit was kind enough to offer a free spot in their coming pin Bhaba trek.
- If you are looking for an adventure in Spiti, I would highly recommend them.
- In the future, I hope they venture out into new regions and come up with some new amazing trails.
