Lush green but can see monkey & dogs all the way... Passed this reserve during try way to kurnool district....

A must visit place for wildlife Lovers.The sanctuary hosts the endangered species called Great Indian Bustard,mainly found in grassy lands.One can spot black bucks during Sunny days,So best time to visit will be during September till June,Rollapadu wild life sanctuary also hosts black bucks,wild boars,Jackals,Russels viper,black cobra etc.Sun set point at Alaganur Resorvior,right behind the sanctuary leaves you mesmerized with... It was a nice visit. The forest guest houses were very comfortable. Food provided like typical village homely food. However, the forest department should improve vigil as many intruders were seen disturbing the green by spreading plastics and unhygienic food left outs.

Rollapadu is known for the Great Indian Bustard (GIB) in particular while we can also hope to see the Black Buck, Lesser Florican, Indian Courser, Indian Wolf, Fox, Jackal and quite a few other common species of fauna. Rollapadu is a beautiful grassland which is home to blackbuck, the Great Indian Bustard and other migratory birds. We visited in April 2015. Today I went to rollapadu to see birds.at a time we can't see the birds.we have to wait and search for 2km around rollapadu, then we can see the beautiful birds.as birds are not stationary we should have more patience. .

if u are planning to go here for birds then better u drop the idea or else just enquire the forest dept officials whether the birds are here yet or not...i think its better to go here during monsoon and full of rains....since its a sanctuary for the migrating birds you should be aware of the fact that ...birds may...
