Visited the temple on September 23,2016 Along with four other friends. From railway station its about 8km to the temple n lodges near by shared autuos are available at 20₹ each with 12 or more people along with their luggage, if you want to hire the auto for yourself, n not sharing with strangers, they will charge ₹ 200, we... - Not much crowd in the temple. No pushing/pulling, even on weekend. Can sit for long time within the temple, infront of the brindavan. - No dress code for the temple. Nice place for a family to visit. Except roads everything went well for me. But not far away from station, local autos are available at any time. Right now renovation is going on, after that it wil be a gud attractive place for everyone who visits dat place

Very divine temple of Sri.Raghavendra swamiji. Located in the River bank of Thungabadra and very near to the Raichur district. Maintained well and daily prasada offered from the temple, Thursday and weekends there will be huge crowd and in the evening time there is a Rathostava program from 7pm to 8.30 pm. Can define it as an beautiful landscape and place to find peace, located on the banks of thingabadra River. i visited it in summer. So, there was very less water in the river and found many crabs nearby. But the temple is good thing to watch.Here men should not wear shirts while entering into the temple.

If you believe in guru and Sri Ragavendra then you must visit this place. If you know his history then you will start looking for this place and once he gave permission you can visit this place.
