After the no show in zone 2 and a fleeting glance of Sultana outside zone 3, and facing the arrogant behaviour of VIP jeeps, we decided to book in Tatkaal on the really really efficient government website. It is so simple and fast. We entered zone 4 at 1400 and in 10 mins we saw Siddhi, basking in glory. Our guide Zakhir and Driver Kamlesh advised us to stay put. We sat there for 2.5 hours and saw this magnificent animal, yawn, stand, growl. At 16.30 it stood up. And walked right across our jeep, marked its territory, chased a prey, jumped over a tree. We couldn’t have been happier. Our son who is a keen photographer clicked 350 photos of Siddhi. Second visit to Ranthambore jungle safari. But this time not seen Tiger even after visiting jungle twice. Still good experience. But don't go to Zone 7,8 etc as these are newly made zones and totally full of thorny bushes and rocks. No proper space to stop the gypsy also. Chances of yiger sighting is very rare. Rest your wish.…

The jeep driver Charan Singh along with Guide Shiv Charan trailed the tiger for 15 min. We had a wonderful experience! We were up, close and personal with the Majesty! Just a piece of advise - do not take the canter - a jeep is a better idea! The canter next to us couldn’t go deeper into the forest to spot closely.…

The canthers are usually delayed. This could be more organized. Guides are good though. March weather is also good for safari.

We went in a large open vehicle. Lots of deer, birds etc and as the tour was coming to an end the tiger emerged from the bush. What a marvelous sight. We then were able to follow the tiger as it walked down the embankment. The highlight of trip so far .
