After the no show in zone 2 and a fleeting glance of Sultana outside zone 3, and facing the arrogant behaviour of VIP jeeps, we decided to book in Tatkaal on the really really efficient government website. It is so simple and fast. We entered zone 4 at 1400 and in 10 mins we saw Siddhi, basking in glory. Our guide Zakhir and Driver Kamlesh advised us to stay put. We sat there for 2.5 hours and saw this magnificent animal, yawn, stand, growl. At 16.30 it stood up. And walked right across our jeep, marked its territory, chased a prey, jumped over a tree. We couldn’t have been happier. Our son who is a keen photographer clicked 350 photos of Siddhi. He has been short listed for an international under 14 photography contest, so we hope he has managed to click a winning shot this time.

I have covered several Tiger reserves and National Park but this one is a beauty.
With Highest probability of spotting several tigers, you get tonnes of option of wildlife present in the dense forest.
Watching animals near the lake which is amidst this national park is a bliss.
Best time to visit is during morning hours and evening hours.
Don't forget to take a quality camera becayse you will get umpteen points for the clicks :)

Ranthambore was absolutely amazing as usual with some great sightings of Tigers and Leapords. I visited with my cousins and had the sightings of my life specially the Tigress Ladli (T8) with her cubs.

We even saw 3 Leapords in one safari with the spotted deer kill. We made our bookings through Travel Gleam Wild and their knowledge about the zones is exceptional. They booked all our safaris to zones on the current sighting updates.

Sourabh Garg (9810606750 , 9958993316) was really great to deal with and politely answered to all our questions and queries.

Ranthambore is beautiful jungle and has multiple zones to enjoy.
I have visited zone 6 and zone 3 on 1st Nov 21.
Zone 3 is most scenic zone and adjacent to Ranthambore fort.
We were able to spot Tiger in both zones . We saw Noor Tigress in zone 6 and T-120 Tiger in zone 3.

Samir helped to me for Safari booking

You’ll see lots of deer, more deer and oh yes even more deer but not much else . You’ll need to tip the guides on every safari even if you don’t see anything. We were up at 5 am but our driver turned up at 6:30 am we then got refused entry into the park as he wasn’t wearing his uniform so had to wait another hour for a different driver and yet they still expected their tip!! There are too many jeeps, they drive recklessly and go crazy when someone spots a tiger , driving in front of one another, has to be the worst safari I’ve ever been on . Would not return or recommend

This was my second trip to Ranthambore, and boy the 2nd visit across 4 years was as exhilarating as the previous one! the thrill of seeing a tiger from few feet away is inexplicable. Folks who enjoy wildlife and want the landscape to go with it, do take some time out to plan a trip to Ranthambore. We had 5 different tiger sighted in 6 safaris!

Horrible experience!
Totally understand that the chances of seeing a tiger was less. But we were on a canter in zone 5 and our guide Mr. Satish was pretty much useless.
He stayed silent the whole time and on his phone playing games! Totally unacceptable!
He gave no information about the park
Even the few animals we spotted , we saw only because we asked him what it was.
He was rude and asked everyone to stay silent so he could talk, so we all stayed silent and he didn't say a word. My kids went to sleep!
Another kid in the canter was genuinely excited and asking great questions, he flat out refused to answer!
Such a shame...
We went on a 2 hour safari the previous day at keolodeo national Park in Bharatpur, and our guide there was simply amazing!!! So informative and enthusiastic.
Ranthambore is sadly over commercialized.

Honesty regarding pricing and likelyhood of seeing animals.
We went on January and saw nothing other than some deer and monkeys.

Zones according to guide don't mater.
Agencies and hotels control the safari tickets. Agencies host websites that look like the national park official website but are them instead.

Electricity pilons throughout the jungle which is not picturesque. Best left to nature and avoided.

Summer may be best to go as heat may bring tiger yo the streams but you can only go morning and afternoon to park
Tigers roam mostly at night.

No cordination with rangers. Big noisey trucks drive through the park scaring all animals. Trip needs to be planned in advance. Accommodation is very expensive and poor quality

Avoid going in zones 7 to 10. Their purpose now just to scam you. Only deers spotted. Only foreigner tourist in these zones and no Indian. This means their only purpose is to make you book for more safaris. Get a Jeep or canter by yourself online for zones 1-6. Full of Indian tourists there. Don’t make hotel reserve safaris because it will cost you double.
Incredible India? No scam India.

Visited Ranthambore along with friends in the winters and had some amazing time, sighted tigers on all the safaris.

Thanks to TravelGleam Wild for all the last minute bookings and their knowledge about the jungle is very good. A must try to book with them.
