You need to spend the whole day here, that is if you like village style food and atmosphere. It is close to Tadas, about 5 kms. And is basically for the whole family to enjoy. Go by 10:30 as breakfast starts. Dosa with tomato chutney and jaggery. There is lemon tea, sugarcane juice ( which you have to crush yourself) and candy. Mehendi for ladies. There is a camel ride, Bullock cart ride, horse riding and boat ride. A rain dance for men and women. Lunch is lavish with jowar roti, Chapati, mixed vegetable, pulao, rice, sambar, papad salad, poli, dal sweet etc Go for horse cart ride. Evening tea and bhel. There is a musical chair, rope waking, puppet show, village dress photo session and swimming pool for children.

Very good place for family and children for one day entertainment Excelent place to enjoy with family. The quality/hygine of the food is super. Horse Ride, Cart Ride, Puppet show & particularly rain dance & related music is so super.

Been there to Agadi Thota with my family, it's a lovely place to be there, the place evokes the fond memories of our childhood and takes us back to good old days reminding us of our culture, the way we / our forefathers lived and dressed.
It's an ideal place to spend 4-5 hours, one can start with welcome drink (Kokum) followed by Fruits (Watermelon) and Sugarcane Juice. It was an experience to roll and crush the sugarcanes to extract juice on our own.
Breakfast was served in open air under the trees, all the food prepared are cooked with organic ingredients. Dosas served with coconut chutney, Ghee and Jaggery. it was just awesome.
The place has host of rural experiences such as, Bullock cart rides, Horse rides, camel rides, Rural games, etc.
The lunch served is truly amazing with all rural north Karnataka cuisines, it was absolutely sumptuous and filling.
All in all, it's a must visit place as a one-day outing.

The place is very crowded, the facilities are very poorly maintained. The entry is NOT cheap either and given the crowd numbers and scale, there is a feeling of overpaying for pathetic facilities.
Rustic/village feeling does not have to be dirty and chaotic also, they are separable and this is where Agadi Thotta fails miserably.
The place is a chaos. Food is OK, nothing rich but I understand palates are subjective. There are long queues even for a single piece of banana and a paan leaves (with some fennel and sugar inside) and the attendants have an attitude where they almost seem to be doing you a favor by throwing one Yellaki banana at you. The earthen cups for water are half broken, water spilling here and there in between. The so called kulfi ice cream for additional Rs 20 reminds me of milk plus sugar frozen in domestic fridge (icy!).
The so called lake water is dirty/filthy. Even the water used for irrigation in trees stinks, no kidding.
If you like a little bit of an order, decently clean facilities and some hospitality, this place is not for you. If you don't mind some boisterous chaos and relatively poor facilities, you may enjoy the place and the food (no prejudice). This was not for us

The service was extremely bad , the people who were working were extremely rude and arrogant, we went to the sugarcane grinder machine the clay cups were extremely dirty, they were inside water where many died mosquitos were floating, and the guy who was incharge of the grinder told us not to take the paper cups that were there but told us to drink from that dirty tray of cups. You should have a limit atleast 500 maximum people, i saw people standing and eating outside, they paid to come here they do not deserve that, 1500 people were there. The only thing that was good was the rain dance shower but the person incharge told us to go to the other aisle, we asked him to start the rain dance, we pay for this not to go according to them, they think they own the place or something, make the service better, make the place more hygienic, make limited people come to the place atleast 500 or 600 maximum. Thank you.

Services should be improve as some staff is not so cooperative due to restriction by the management. Eatable snacks and juice are provided below sufficient quantity and unhygienic. Very poor services. No control on visitors crowd. Washrooms are in very bad condition. No precautions on Covid-19. charges are very high and some Information on the site are false and not at par with the facility provided. Food quality is applicable only for south people. Wastage of money for north India péople.

Not a great place to visit, unclean washrooms and initially they told some other charge and then when we went there the charges were more. Also this was even after booking 1 day in advance. Be v v clear in speaking and doubly ask charges and also get it in writing. The ticket is attached here for ref for manager

You can bet your money spent won't go in vain. I believe, this is one of the best options, if you are nearby Hubli-Dharwad or even Belagavi. The food is awesome and delicious. They know-how to impress the visitors/tourists with authentic Karnataka Cuisines. Thank you our relatives thoroughly enjoyed their day at "Agadi Thota"

This is good for families or friends looking for a long drive and relax in a village setting . Food is Usually North Karnataka style . Many activities to keep you occupied till evening. Property is clean and safe .

Love this place visit every year since last 2-3 years when I enter this place I forget my stress I just here come to enjoy my day. Horse camel bull cartridong all are awesome.. traditional food is super lot of love tq Agadi tota love u....
