We went last week when there was hardly any flow in the river. But I think it will be a great place to visit in the monsoon when there will be enough water in the river and forest around will be fresh and greener.

Lovely experience hiking through the forest to the Kosi river. Saw tiger paw prints on the way and lots of birds. Takes 1 to 1.5 hours, so recommend doing this before checking out from Corbett Machaan.

We had an afternoon lunch picnic here. Beautiful place, not very crowded. Some good birding as well.
Plan to spend about 3-4 hours here. Ideally go in the evening and stay till sunset

You can see lots of Ducks and swans here . There is a dam at the entrance of Ramnagar on the river. Also there is Girija devi temple situated in the middle of river on a small hill top. Beautiful view..

Kosi river can be approached from many resorts in Corbett but trekking about a km from the main road to the bridge on river Kosi is an enjoyable comfortable trek though going down the river is not that easy The view from the bridge is beautiful best time to visit is early morning or sunset time but make sure to hit the road before it gets dark

The crystal clear water and the pleasant burbles of the stream will calm your mind and body. Reaching down to the river through the stone paved path was thrilling and exciting. Then to splash your feet in the clean and soothing water will heal you from your toe to top.

All along the Ramnagar area Kosi river is a lifeline, it trickles or trods its way through a number of places there. You can (if you have a car/bike) find places where you can stop and enjoy the river very closely. Stop , park and trek to these places and have fun, but beware if you are there in the monsoons there are chances or flooding so do take it with caution and stay safe.

Could not enjoy by riverside as Covid restrictions were enforced. The river was also dry as there was no rain .

Idylic flowing water makes a great day of outing. Ideal for a picnic day, camping nearby or just a stroll on its banks. In places can wade through to cross.

It is a must do if you're visiting the Jim Corbett National Park. The only drawback is the approachability and the facilities that may be provided by the Government.
The water bed is very rocky but the water is extremely clean and makes you feel like staying there forever
