It would be a slightly long journey to go around the national wetland park, about 2 to 3 hours if you choose to take the touring car, and it could cost you a day, by my estimation, to walk through the park if completely walking.
After taking the touring car for about 20 mins to 30 mins from the gate, you are able to walk through the rest of the park on wooden walkways. And followed the wooden walkways you could first go across the river. The river was extremely turbulent when I went there, after a couple of days raining. And there are also two observation decks on the hill and the stairs are somehow steep, so it might not be suitable for the elder. From the observation deck could you look down on the wetland as a whole, that is the most valuable thing to do in this wetland park I think.

I think this wetland attraction boasted that it's the largest in Asia but the way they presented it wasn't interesting. The air on the Highlands were however very fresh and a strong wind swept across the plains so all in all it was a good visit. Still not interesting enough to warrant a recommendation

This place was open in 2017 and the center has done a great job to make this place very attractive. There is possible to be driven into the wetland and from a spot there they drop you off and you can walk around and to the top of the mountain. All has been nice prepared with walking tracks and stairs to the mountain. In the low land you cross the river two times and from the top of the mountain you get a nice view of the nature with the wetland, grass land and the river. But I don't recommend bringing kids in a trolley. Kids should be able to walk or you must carry the kid most of the time. Compare this park to other parks in Erguna, I think this is the best one.
One thing make me sad, and that is the Chinese people's respect to the nature, I saw much garbage been throwing around instead of into the garbage boxes they set up many places.
I was here now in September with nice Autumn colors, but they told me that in the spring and early summer, it is also very beautiful with lots of flowers blooming and many birds.
So I would like to come back in the spring season to see this place again.

Came all the way to Erguna just to visit the plains and it was not opened, no one manning the ticket office. No notice as well. Disappointing.
