This museum has a collection of special rocks, gem stones and other surprises which Mother Earth can only produce. It was an exciting trip to see the various rocks and ' masterpieces' of Mother Earth which left us enthralled .most of the rocks are sourced from nearby places, a few from abroad and even a small piece of moon rock.... It was really nice to visit Gargoti. The natural minerals collection in the museum is marvellous. Mr. Pandey's efforts must be complemented for such a vast range of minerals from different parts of the world. One must visit.

The entrance ticket is 200 rupees, but it well worth it. The museum is really well kept and has lots of interesting excebits, we spent more than 1.5 hours exploring it. The most delicious crystals are at the end in Prestige Gallery. There were a guide in the museum, but we didn't have time to use his service. The museum... More

I thought of doing a quick tour of Gargoti Museum, max 15 minutes. After all how much time is needed to view a few rocks that too in a small private museum! And how wrong was I.... I ended up spending a good one hour looking at each exhibit accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. The ticket price of Rs.100/- includes... More

They told me in Marathi 'Gargoti' means small balls of crystals or stones'. This was my second visit. Established at a silent place. Of a unique type. Excellent collection. One must visit this museum to enhance one's knowledge in stones. Well maintained. Well behaved staff. It is astonished to see the artwork of nature in concealed manner.

Simply spellbounding collection. Amazed to see what lies hidden inside Mother Earth. This privately owned museum is on Nashik-Pune highway. Their collections is both from inside and outside India. One cannot help but feels awed by the beauty of each mineral specimen kept here in their natural form. Also they have some fossils of bones and teeth of dinosaurs, shells... More

This is a mineral museum privately owned and one of its kind in entire India. It has a huge collection of rocks including those found in nearby areas and across the world too. The museum building is two storeyed. Normally we cannot think about the such colorful collection of stones unless we happen to see it.

Whenever we talk about Nashik we primarily refer couple of very famous pilgrimage sites but seldom mention about this dazzling collection of precious mineral stones in their original crystalline form in this two storied build in MIDC area. Just unbelievable that a piece of stone can have such a glow with million years of history capitulated to speak about. The... More
