We were a group of sixteen hikers who on a rest day visited this very well presented museum. Sardinia is an archeological treasure chest with a fascinatingly unique history. This museum concentrates on a civilisation that predates the Christian era by 800 years.

Worth to see, 1-1,5 hours are enough. Interresting local history, but mainly only in Italian. Giants are also there!

Worth combining with Tharros and the tower [all available on the same ticket] but sensible to check opening times before you go as some closures could result in disappointment

Excellent layout and lots of historical finds on display in cabinets. Not all had English translations, but fine examples of pieces from centuries ago.

Went there with some friends. We wanted to visit the famous "Giganti" because of the long and untold story behind them. Good that you can combine the ticket to visit Tharros as well.
