We went from Mysuru by road. Bandipur National Park is about 80 km away from Mysuru. The road is good and comfortable drive. It took us about one hour and fifteen minutes to reach. Reached there around 2.30 pm. As expected, there was a big crowd being December and tourists season. Had to stand in que for some time to... More

The booking for safari is done online and you need to start early morning in jeep or bus to see wild but don't expect much. There is huge number of deer's and that is what wildlife that you get here. The area... More

Visit to Bandipur was not very pleasant. Upon reaching , we had to stand in the Safari ticket line for app 45 minutes since online bookings are not available. The website is not too clear on this aspect - so all visitors must keep this in mind. The Safari is an hour roundabout in a cranky 12 seater bus -... More

Visited this place on Sep 2016. Went for four safaris, however could not spot a tiger. We had a leopard sighting. Accommodation is good. There is no geyser/heater available. Make sure to carry immersible water heater if you are travelling in winter months. From late afternoons, you can find Spotted deers, Langoors and wild boars wandering near the cottages. If... More
