You can see a few paintings of the royals and important othe rfigures. If you visit the shrine, you can freely visit the museum as well. But its not big or worth it as there is not much to see

If you are interested in Korean history this is an interesting place to go. You find portraits of Korean kings as well as other important historical relicts. I particularly like a model of a scene showing the king moving with all his guards.

This is located in the palace but a separate building. Interesting various portraits of the king if your interested in art. There are additional items of interest so worthwhile visiting as part of the overall Jeonju experience

This location was in Jeonju and it as bit of our trail. My son and I learned little about 1st ruler of Josan Dynasty. We was worth the trouble.

Admission is included with the Gyeonggijeon Shrine. Not much on display despite the big building. Most portraits are replicas or recent works. It's worth a quick look after the Shrine visit.

Entrance only costs 1000 won. It was much bigger than we thought it was. There was a room depicting a royal procession in little figurines. It's quite the sight to see and imagine how it would look like in real life. Quite interesting. There are...More

It is part of the shrine admission fee, so certainly worth viewing. It doesn't take long, and gives a greater appreciation of the ceremony involved in moving the portraits from one location to another.

If you like seeing replicas of portraits of all their previous kings, then this museum is for you...not for me though.
