“Beautiful architecture”

Based on the comments I had read about this church, I did want to see it, and it was well worth it. I expected a rather small church, but it is an awesome building with a great architecture of Roman and Neogothic elements. The interior of the church is amazing, beautiful details adorn every corner of it; as read on a church plate, beautiful paintings of Italian artists can be appreciated. Some other monuments are found surrounding the building. Great visit this one.

The biggest cultural artistic monument of the town, this cathedral is breathtaking! If you understand or speak Portuguese, stay for a service and take your time to admire all the details.

Outstanding building in Itajai

I would say this is the most interesting architecture in the small town of Itajai. The reason we were here was because our cruise boat made a stopover here. I have not been to any other small towns in Brazil so I am not sure if this a how a typical town is like. As we strolled around, it’s impossible to miss this beautiful church. Stepping inside gave me a tranquil feel.

Perfect harmony

When you walk into this cathedral you will get goosebumps. Fantastic to visit with so much to look at.

Plenty of statues and exquisite rose glass works to see.

The Cathedral is open from early AM to PM.

Unusual and beautiful.

This really is the focal point of the city, it truly is a beautiful building, it's design, I'm no expert by the way, looks quite unusual for a church. Seeing it during the day is great, but at night time it is so well lite it's awesome. If your in Itajai, you won't miss it.

amazingly beautiful !!

Visited on christmas day, when the entire street and church were beautifully decorated. Interiors and architecture are quite good.

The building is quite imposing from the outside and the inside of the church is also very beautiful. I really enjoyed meeting her. It is close to the Itajaí historical museum
